Today’s children are often much more technologically savvy than their parents. They are growing up in a world where the normal progression of learning, experimentation and growth is intricately entwined (and in fact empowered) with the technology implements of the day. While it is essential to allow children the opportunity to spread
their wings and figure out life, they lack experience and moral agency. Studies show the frontal lobe of a child’s brain is not fully developed unit the age of 24! This is why we see teenagers and even young adults
periodically make shockingly bad decisions!
So, we have children who are not capable of wise decision-making wielding a incredibly powerful tool that we as their implicit guardians don’t understand. This is the gap that Cyber Value Systems is going to resolve!
No longer can we as responsible adults kick this issue down the road hoping everything works out ok.

decisions for themselves as individuals and those they are helping to flourish.
Our role as parents and educators is to allow children to make these mistakes and gently guide them with the benefit our experience and moral agency.
The problem we face today however, is that the majority of parents don’t understand the technology that has become so pervasive and invasive in our lives.
